As a marvel of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), a leading authority in the field of acupuncture, and an outstanding representative of TCM in folk, Professor Liu Hongbin officially delivered a speech at the co-chaired conference held by the 2022 Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Inheritance and Innovation Forum.
刘教授的第一堂课，对“以肝为主”用于调理某些疑难杂症应用的浅见；刘教授从肝脏的形成，引发的疾病诱因、成因、表象和治疗原理等内容进行了全面、细致、深入的剖析和讲解，令与会代表眼界大开，刘教授的学识与经验积累，自成一派的医术让人惊叹。
Professor Liu’s first lecture was about his opinions on the “liver-based” medicine for treating some difficult miscellaneous diseases; Professor Liu gave a comprehensive, detailed, and in-depth analysis and interpretation of the formation of the liver, as well as the causes, inducements, symptoms and treatment principles of the diseases, which greatly broadened the horizon of the representatives at the conference. His expertise and accumulated experience and his own medical school were amazing.

As concluded by Secretary General Kong Qingli, the general superintendent of the conference, we should first discover various schools in the TCM field and outstanding representatives like Professor Liu, and then propagandize their contributions and achievements to all walks of life. Meanwhile, we should write books and record them in history, because they are the main force and the most important component for TCM development.
